Naruto Storm 4: Kaguya’s Tailed Beast Transformation Boss Battle

The battle in Naruto Storm 4 just keeps getting bigger! Combined with the power of the Divine Tree, Kaguya Otsutsuki will wield the power of the Ten Tails through her unstable tailed beast transformation in Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2’s latest Naruto fighter. As you can see below, with the fate of the world at stake, the evil Rabbit Goddess in this form will take on Perfect Susanoo Kakashi in the game’s story mode as part of a boss battle. Not only that, but players will be able to use launch this rabbit-like beast power as part of Kaguya’s ultimate jutsu in free battle!

Naruto Storm 4: Free Roam, Online, Poncho DLC

Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2 are bringing back the goods in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. The latest scan, below, confirms free roam, online, and DLC (although, we’re not too sure how we actually feel about the DLC just yet).
First and foremost, free roam. This is where players will be able to run around the world of Naruto, exploring and completing missions. Players will be able to travel to different villages (like Naruto Storm 3), however, it is unclear if the actual style will be somewhat limited like Storm 3′s Ultimate Adventure mode or if it will be like Storm 1′s completely open world (but expanded to villages in addition to the Leaf). It does look similar to Storm 3 based on the camera angles, but we will have to wait for additional information to be sure.
The scan confirms both the Leaf and Sand villages as two locales players can roam in and highlights a mission that looks similar to one we’ve seen in past Naruto Storm games. It’s that Naruto needs to deliver a letter from Kakashi (who is in the Leaf) to Gaara (who is residing in the Sand). What’s different and interesting in this scenario, is Naruto’s arm is bandaged up! This signifies at least this particular mission takes place after chapter 699, Naruto’s battle with Sasuke at the end of the manga. Sakura and Hinata will be joining Naruto on the trip as support characters. There will be numerous support characters joining Naruto on different missions and they will each contribute dialogue of sorts, which looks similar to what we’ve seen in the past Storm games.
Online battle will also make a return to Storm 4, with a new enhancements! Details are scarce at the moment, but what we do know is players will be able to battle opponents worldwide and work their way up from a Genin to at least a Jonin.

As for DLC, the scan only mentions it will be in, but does not specify what. We do know there will be pre-order DLC in the form of playable characters Boruto and Sarada worldwide. What may be new to you is in Latin America, there is region-specific DLC for those who pre-order – Naruto and Sasuke in poncho costumes! Sage Naruto is shown with the Uzumaki symbol, while Taka Sasuke is shown with the Uchiha Fan symbol across their coats. It’s unknown at this time if these costumes will make their way to other parts of the world.

A brand new scan for Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2′s Naruto Storm 4 is here! It features a story mode boss battle vs the first form of the Ten Tails. Naruto Storm 4: Kishimoto Creates Perfect Susanoo Itachi and Shisui

In Naruto Storm 4, the battle will be taken to the next level! Joining Kakashi Hatake, Madara Uchiha, and Sasuke Uchiha with the power of the Perfect Susanoo are Shisui Uchiha and Itachi Uchiha! Even after death, the power of these two shinobi never ceases to impress!
Both Shisui and Itachi’s Perfect Susanoo forms have been created exclusively for Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2′s latest fighter by none other than the author of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto! In other words, these forms have never been seen in the manga or anime so for fans of Naruto, Storm 4 will be the first time we’ll get to experience these two Uchiha at their strongest!
Shisui’s Perfect Susanoo is a glowing green, similar in color to the Susanoo Kishimoto-sensei created for him in Naruto Storm 4′s predecessor, Storm Revolution. Itachi’s Perfect Susanoo is a fiery red, just as his Susanoo was in the previous games and the anime.

Naruto Storm 4: New Mode to Discover the World, New Language Support

From the 2015 Tokyo Game Show, small tidbits of news for Naruto Storm 4 have been revealed! The first revolves around why the game was delayed from Fall 2015 to February 2016 worldwide. IGN reports Naruto Storm 4 will have increase gameplay volume, including a new mode exclusive to the game that will allow players to “discover the world.”

According to Hiroshi Matsyama, the president/CEO of game developer CyberConnect2, they wanted the game to get “powered up more” since it’s the first Naruto title on the new generation of consoles. The additional development time will allow the great team at CyberConnect2 to improve animations such as creating different damage animations for individual characters when they’re attacked by an opponent’s secret technique (ultimate jutsu) as opposed to all characters performing the same animation and polish boss fights and other elements.

No additional details were revealed at the Tokyo Game Show in regards to this, but expect more to be announced next month (in October) from the New York Comic Con. This includes news on features of Storm 4, news on Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto’s involvement with the game, and new gameplay!

The second tidbit of news deals with new language support! Naruto Storm 4 will have Japanese, English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portugese voice over work. Subtitles will make their way in the form of English, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, German, and Arabic! This will be the most diverse game in the franchise in terms of language support, so it shows just how huge STORM has become since the release of the first game in the franchise back in 2008!

Naruto Storm 4: Double Sharingan, Susanoo Kakashi Confirmed

The latest scan from Shuiesha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has confirmed Kakashi Hatake’s ultimate form is making its way to Naruto Storm 4! That’s Kakashi with the power of Susanoo thanks to Obito Uchiha lending Kakashi his eyes so that he has two Sharingan, double what he has had normally in the series! Just like in the manga, Kakashi is shown in the scan below to be using this new power against Kaguya Otsutsuki.

Naruto Storm 4: Demo Being Worked On, Mecha Naruto Won’t Be In Game

In response to a user questions, Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed two interesting tidbits of information in regards to the game we are very much looking forward to – Naruto Storm 4! One tidbit is great news and the other not so much, depending on who you talk to.
The first is there is a demo being worked on! What will the demo contain, will there be online, and when can fans download it? Those details are not available at this time. It to be released around December-January. Again, no official word on the demo release date at this time, but we will keep you updated as information is announced.
The second tidbit is Naruto Storm Revolution’s Mecha Naruto will be sharing the same fate as Naruto Storm 2′s Lars Alexandersson – he won’t be included in Naruto Storm 4. No reason was mentioned as to why Mecha Naruto will be exclusive to Naruto Storm Revolution, but we personally enjoyed playing as him and would have liked to see the robotic bugger again.
Lars Alexandersson

Naruto Storm 4: Sasuke, Naruto Story, More Screenshots

In a scan, it was revealed players can enjoy the story in Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2′s Naruto Storm 4 from the viewpoints of Naruto and Sasuke. The scan, and three of the screenshots below, cover the part of the Naruto Shippuden storyline when Orochimaru revives the Hokages of the past through Edo Tensi so that Sasuke can hear what they have to say and ultimately decide what he wants to do with the Hidden Leaf Village. The battle with Hashirama isn’t canon as, in the anime/manga, Sasuke’s meeting with the Hokage was full of flashback and talking. It’s likely the Naruto Storm 4 just implements battle and quick time events as way for players to interact in the game as the story is progressing.
The story mode screenshot for Naruto gives an indication for a Naruto vs Tobi showdown, so we assume the fight from Naruto Storm 3, that was left with a cliffhanger, will be retold in Naruto Storm 4 to match the canon Naruto story much more closely. Other screenshots below are of Obito, Kakashi, Rin, and Hanabi.

The part of the Naruto Shippuden storyline this is covering is when Orochimaru revives the Hokages of the past through Edo Tensi so that Sasuke can hear what they have to say and ultimately decide what he wants to do with the Hidden Leaf Village.

Naruto Storm 4: Kaguya, Boruto, Sarada Confirmed Playable, Box Art

Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2 are going all out in this final Storm, giving us fans exactly what we want with characters from the end of the Naruto manga, The Last: Naruto the Movie, and Boruto: Naruto the Movie!
Lets start with the confirmation of the progenitor of chakra as a playable character, Kaguya Otsutsuki, who will be bringing in her abilities to open and travel through rifts in space! Joining her in the playable category is the son of our hero Naruto Uzumaki and his wife Hinata Hyuga, Boruto Uzumaki, who is a prodigy with exceptional skills as a shinobi. Not only that, but players will be able to wield the power of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno’s daughter, Sarada Uchiha!
On the costumes front, players will be able to play as Sixth Hokage Kakashi Hatake, which will be an alternate costume for the man once known as the Copy Ninja! As previously confirmed, both The Last: Naruto the Movie versions Naruto and Sasuke will be playable characters and The Last: Naruto the Movie versions of Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuga will be available as alternate costumes.
From our understanding, the scan below mentions Boruto, Sarada, and The Last: Naruto the Movie versions of Naruto (playable), Sasuke (playable) Kakashi (costume), Sakura (costume), and Hinata (costume) will be obtainable to those who pick up the Day 1 Edition of the game. This is, of course, for the Japanese version of Naruto Storm 4. It’s unclear how Bandai Namco America and Europe will handle the distribution of these characters and costumes.
In addition to all the character excitement comes the official box art for the Japanese version of the game and it shows Naruto, Sasuke, Obito, and Madara will be gracing the cover. Music-wise, Japanese band KANA-BOON will be lending their talents to the opening theme of the game with a new song called Spiral. They are the same group behind Naruto Shippuden opening 16 (Silhouette) and the Boruto: Naruto the Movie theme song (Diver).
